NCPO: Royal Thai Army to send support to border patrol along Mekong River

The National Council for Peace and Order has confirmed more troops will be sent to support the patrol operation along the Mekong River.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, Gen. Apirat Kongsompong, who is also the Secretary General of the NCPO, said that national security and border patrol units are preparing to employ all mechanisms necessary to implement an anti-narcotics operation from November to January.
